Time goes by

Its been forever since I have updated this, and its sad because indeed we have celebrated 2 birthdays, had Christmas break, New Years festivities, company, and even broken fingers.  Many of my pictures have disappeared somehow, and I need to not let that happen again.  Here are some pictures I have managed to find...

Fall in Tokyo led quickly to Christmas...

I try to stay away from this place, but I love seeing these ladies smiling faces

Living in Japan during chilly days, good ramen is the best!

We went to a washi paper shop where we could make our own washi paper
It was fascinating!

So there you have it...2 months at a glance...I won't let so much time drag on next time!

Saying goodbye

It was a wonderful three weeks, it flew by, and indeed I was dreading their departure with every fiber of my being.  Before they left dad celebrated his birthday, and I took them to one of our favorite places, Showa Park.

Happy Birthday Grampa!

Thank you for coming Mom and Dad...
Please come again!

Kyoto, November 2014

Our last stop on our road trip through Japan brought us to my favorite city, Kyoto, no trip to Japan is complete without it.  Here are some of my favorite photos...
